London – November 25th 2009 - Brixgate today announced that it has joined with Paramount Digital Entertainment to deliver a download and streaming movie service in Sweden.

London – November 25th 2009 - Brixgate today announced that it has joined with Paramount Digital Entertainment to deliver a download and streaming movie service in Sweden.
The service allows users to buy and rent movies, as well as providing a smaller range of library movies that are available on an advertising supported model.
The service launches on Wednesday 25th November 2009 and is named Free Film Direct (FFD).
“We are pleased to have signed our first major studio agreement with Paramount Digital Entertainment.
I am also pleased to announce we are close to completing contracts with several of the other MPAA studios, and other international studios plus of course the important Scandinavian studios.” Said Gunnar Trossö, founder and senior partner of Brixgate.
